Carol
Harada is the daughter of a doctor and a quilt designer. She joyfully
shares this legacy of healing creativity as her Original Medicine, her
unique offering in service to Spirit.
Wild Imagination
Arts and Healing integrates Carol’s gifts in co-creative
hypnotherapy, arts exploration, body wisdom, and earth-centered
spirituality.
In 2000
Carol completed her clinical training and internship with Holly
Holmes-Meredith in client-centered hypnotherapy and energy therapies at HCH
Institute. That year she started Wild Imagination. In 2004 she completed
the Four-Fold Way cross-cultural shamanic training with Angeles Arrien. In
2005 she received her Reiki Master Teacher certification. She is currently
training in Focusing and Releasing Blocks to Action with Ann Weiser
Cornell, an essential way to witness all aspects of ourselves while in
compassionate Presence.
Collage,
mixed media, and writing are Carol’s chosen forms of creative
expression. Sharing simple tools and trust in the creative cycle inspires a
greater sense of play and possibility in the work. Carol continues to learn the body-mind’s power
and wisdom. Ongoing somatic studies include Continuum Movement; TaKeTiNa:
Rhythm for Evolution; Interplay; yoga; sound healing; and shamanic voice.
Carol’s
kinship with earth rhythms and natural cycles of change arises from
indigenous spiritual practice and her Japanese ancestry. Sacred ceremonies,
vision quests, wise woman traditions, meditation in stillness and motion,
and Four-Fold Way practices keep Carol on the path to becoming a good,
true, beautiful human being.
